Thai Coffee
Thai Coffee is an artful iced brew inspired by the Southeast Asian coffee-shop tradition, where bold, spiced coffee meets a floated layer of rich whipping cream. Ground coriander and cardamom infuse the brew with an exotic, aromatic warmth that transforms a simple iced coffee into something far more intriguing. The visual contrast between the dark coffee and the white cream crown makes it as beautiful as it is delicious.

- 1
Place the coffee and spices in the filter cone of your coffee maker.
- 2
Brew coffee as usual, let it cool.
- 3
In a tall glass, dissolve 1 or 2 teaspoons of sugar in an ounce of the coffee (it's easier to dissolve than if you put it right over ice).
- 4
Add 5-6 ice cubes and pour coffee to within about 1 inch of the top of the glass.
- 5
Rest a spoon on top of the coffee and slowly pour whipping cream into the spoon.
- 6
This will make the cream float on top of the coffee rather than dispersing into it right away.
