Daiquiri
Legend places the Daiquiri's birth around 1898 near the Cuban mining town it is named after, with American engineer Jennings Cox usually taking the credit. Three humble ingredients in perfect balance made it a favourite of Hemingway and JFK alike. Drink it ice cold, preferably with sunshine.

Ingredients
- Light Rum 60 ml
- Lime Juice 20 ml
- Simple Syrup 2 bar spoon
Method

Stir the lime juice and sugar in a shaker until the sugar dissolves.

Add the rum and fill the shaker with ice.

Shake well until ice cold.

Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
