Dick Bradsell knocked this together at Fred's Club in 1980s London, chasing a childhood memory of picking blackberries on the Isle of Wight. The purple liqueur bleeding through the crushed ice made it an instant modern classic — Britain's answer to the great gin sours.

Afwerken met Lemon slice and fresh blackberries.
- Gin 50 ml
- Lemon Juice 25 ml
- Simple Syrup 12.5 ml
- Crème de Mûre 15 ml

Shake the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup with ice.

Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.

Drizzle the crème de mûre over the top in a circular motion.

Garnish with a lemon slice and blackberries.
