Blood and Sand
Named after the 1922 Rudolph Valentino bullfighter film, the Blood and Sand is one of the very few classic cocktails built on Scotch. Its equal-parts formula looks odd on paper but drinks like silk. Sweet, smoky-edged and dangerously easy.
Recept
Shake and serve
Afwerken met Orange zest or cocktail cherry.
Ingredients
- Scotch whisky 25 ml
- Cherry Liqueur 25 ml
- Sweet Vermouth 25 ml
- Orange Juice 25 ml
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.

Shake well until thoroughly chilled.

Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- 4
Garnish with an orange zest or a cherry.
