This gin sour with almond orgeat dates back to David Embury's era, but it was Sasha Petraske's Milk & Honey crew who polished it into a modern standard, adding a dash of bitters for depth. Good orgeat is everything here. Nutty, bright and deceptively simple.

Shake and serve
Afwerken met Lemon twist.
Ingredients
- Gin 60 ml
- Lemon Juice 22.5 ml
- Orgeat 15 ml
- Angostura bitters 1 dash
Method

Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled.

Fine strain into a chilled coupe.

Express the lemon twist over the drink and drop it in.
