Horse's Neck
Started life in 1890s America as a non-alcoholic ginger ale sipper before brandy stiffened it into a classic, later a favourite in the British Royal Navy's officers' mess. The dramatic ribbon of lemon peel draped over the rim gives it its name. Long, lively and quietly distinguished.
