Widow's Kiss
George Kappeler created this autumnal stunner at New York's Holland House hotel in 1895, marrying Norman apple brandy to two French monastery liqueurs. David Embury later called it perfect for when the first leaves fall. Honeyed, herbal and as cosy as a fireside chair.

Stir and serve
Afwerken met Maraschino cherry.
Ingredients
- Calvados 45 ml
- Bénédictine 22.5 ml
- Yellow Chartreuse 22.5 ml
- Angostura bitters 2 dash
Method

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice.

Stir until well chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
