Mexican Firing Squad
Charles H. Baker recorded this drink at La Cucaracha Bar in Mexico City in 1937, but it was the modern craft movement, led by PDT in New York, that brought it roaring back. Real pomegranate grenadine and a generous hit of bitters make all the difference. Tart, fruity and far more interesting than its margarita cousin.
Recept
Shake and serve
Afwerken met Lime wheel.
Ingredients
- Blanco Tequila 60 ml
- Lime Juice 22.5 ml
- Grenadine 22.5 ml
- Angostura bitters 2 dash
Method
- 1
Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled.

Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

Garnish with a lime wheel.
